Dennis Kyalo

Dennis leads 254 Youth Policy Café in generating evidence-based policy work through development and delivery of cutting-edge policy agenda and stakeholder outreach strategy.

He has over 6 years’ experience in Africa’s research and policy space; majorly in agriculture, climate action, livelihoods, gender and youth programmes. A space that has seen him co-author several working papers and reports. Dennis is also a data analytics fanatic with advanced skills in data mining and quantitative data analysis. He is passionate about youth inclusive sustainable development and maintains an interest in mentoring the youth; in particular, students and recent graduates who are seeking to grow their career profiles. Dennis’ work experience is with among other institutions Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), and Jesuit Justice and Ecology Network of Africa (JENA). He holds a bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics and a master’s degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics.

As a youth, Dennis seeks to contribute to the growth of 254 Youth Policy Café, live a purposeful life, have fun, make new friends, and touch lives. Dennis believes if you cannot make some’s life better, at least do not make it worse off.
