Samantha Luseno
I am an experienced data/policy analyst with a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. I have over 4 years experience in the review and articulation of policy issues across various social sectors including: education; health; social protection; water and sanitation; and special interest groups (women, children, youth, and persons with disabilities). I am also conversant with the intricacies of the extractive industry with knowledge on environmental and social impact assessments, land rights, revenue sharing and management, contracting, and transparency and accountability. The above stated is demonstrated by my over 30 publications evidencing skills in: policy review; governance structures; macro and micro-economic modelling and forecasting; public finance management and budget analysis. I am also well versed with resource mobilization and partnership engagement for research projects; policy dialogue forums; and operations and project funding for civil society organizations.
I am passionate about giving marginalized communities and special interest groups a voice in policy dialogue, human rights advocacy, and rights based & inclusive legislative frameworks.
